Illinois Slow-Pitch Tournament Rules

1.      ALL teams must SANCTION ON-LINE before their first tournament. (www.illinoisnsa.com)

2.   ALL teams must REGISTER FOR TOURNAMENT ON-LINE 7 DAYS before tournament. (www.illinoisnsa.com)

3.      ROSTERS must be entered ON-LINE before their first tournament. (www.illinoisnsa.com)

4.      At every tournament, the team manager must bring and give the tournament director a SIGNED COPY of roster 30 minutes BEFORE the first game. NO ON-LINE ROSTER - TEAM CANNOT PLAY!

5.      Tournament Entry Fee must be paid before team can be placed on the schedule.

6.      Tournament will use the Approved Bat/Ball List (www.illinoisnsa.com) Bat NOT on list is NOT approved!

7.      The tournament will be run in strict accordance with the 2006 NSA Rulebook.

8.   If a higher class team plays a lower class team, the lower class team HOME RUN RULE will be used.

9.   Managers should ask questions at the pre-game conference, non-knowledge of tournament or game rules or other teams classification is not acceptable.

10.      Teams must be READY TO PLAY 30 minutes BEFORE scheduled game time.

11.  Team managers are required to check main pairings board after every game for updates!

12.   Players or teams can be ejected from tournament (without refund or points) because of excessive inappropriate conduct!

13.  NO ONE is allowed to question balls or strikes except the batter, pitcher or catcher. (Penalty - Ejection!)

14.  Tournament has the right to change tournament schedule because of inclement weather

15.  Other Rule Reminders

a)      Teams can bat 12 people (2 EH)

b)      NO steel spikes
