NSA PAY CASH TOURNAMENTS

·            All Illinois NSA qualifiers and State Championships are CASH TOURNAMENTS which pay on site.

·            Select Illinois NSA qualifiers offer a $25 DISCOUNT if entry fee is paid in full 7 days in advance.

·            Payouts are based on entry fees and rental cost of hosting facility.*

·            All NSA sanctioned umpires provided.

·            NITS, REGIONALS AND WORLDS are NOT cash tournaments (still travel money paid at destination).

World Series Qualifier if Entry Fee is $250*

·     1^st - World Berth and $40 per paid team in tournament

    (Eg: 8 teams x $40 = $320; 16 teams x $40 = $640 total)$(eg$55 per team

·     2^nd - Super Regional Berth and $15 per paid team in tournament $

15 per team       (Eg: 8 teams x $15 = $120; 16 teams x $15 = $240 total)

World Series Qualifier if Entry Fee is $225*

·     1^st - World Berth and $30 per paid team in tournament$

$55 p           (Eg: 8 teams x $30 = $240; 16 teams x $30 = $480 total)

·    2^nd - Super Regional Berth and $10 per paid team in tournament $$

   (Eg: 8 teams x $10 = $80; 16 teams x $10 = $160 total)

                   $45 per paid team in tournament

         (Eg: 8 teams x $45 = $360; 16 teams x $45= $720 total)$(

$20 per paid team in tournament

BRING YOUR OWN BALL!

·     This year teams must provide their own softballs at every game (except the World and Super World Series).

·     The ball must be NSA Stamped 12-Inch Black Stitch Optic Yellow 44 cor 400 compression softball.

·     Team that is batting will provide the ball that they hit.

·     If the ball goes out of play, the team that is batting is responsible for putting another ball into play within 30 seconds.

·     The replacement ball must match the tournament requirement above.

·     Softballs will be available for purchase on-site at the tournament. team

POINTS AND BONUSES!

·         If you play in 5 NSA tournaments in Illinois, your state entry is FREE.

·         Points are listed on http://www.playnsa.com.

·         All Illinois States and Super States are SEEDED BY POINTS.

·         Men's Class D & E - The winner of EACH class POINTS RACE receives a paid Super World Series Berth!*

·         Men's Class B & C - The winner of EACH class POINTS RACE receives a half-paid Super World Series Berth!*

·         Points leader as of September 1, 2010 will be the POINTS RACE WINNER!

*To be eligible, the team must have played in a minimum of five (5) tournaments, one of which must be the State. 

WORLD SERIES QUALIFIERS

·             1^st place - World Series Berth, Super Regional Berth

·             2^nd place - Super Regional Berth

·             3^rd place - Super Regional Berth

·             All Participating teams - State Championship Berths

POST SEASON ENTRY FEES

·             Super World Series             $350

·             World Series                        $280-$300 (Determined by team's classification. Fees are listed on tournament schedule.)

·             Super Regional                    $250

·             Super NIT                              $275
