SITE RESPONSIBILITIES

Tournament Directors will make every attempt to start and finish the tournament including the use of diamond dry, schedule and site revisions.

Tournament Directors have the right to adjust the schedule at any time including day, place, format and time including a blind redraw if necessary.

Communications before the tournament begins will be handled by a message machine and calling cell phone numbers provided on the team's paper entry form, which must be included with all payments made by check, or the primary contact number listed online on the team's Play NSA team sanction application.

TEAM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

The Team Manager is responsible for knowing tournament rules and format then communicating that information to his/her team's players and parents. Non-knowledge of rules or format is not a reason for not following the refund policy.

Team manager is responsible for personally checking the main parings board after every game at River Road, or alternate facility specified by the Tournament Director, to determine if the diamonds are ready to play and if the tournament is delayed for rain.

Any team cancellations during the tournament must be communicated directly to the main tournament director (No Messages).

REFUND POLICY

Team Sanction Fee = No Refund - No Credit

Tournament Cancellation by NSA - Not Enough Teams (3 team minimum) = 100% refund

Tournament Complete Wash/Cancellation by NSA - $75 Minimum Deduction (based on facility setup costs)

Tournament Format Adjusted - Three-Game Minimum Advertized

Rain Out - One game played = 25% Credit*

Rain Out - Two games played = No Refund - No Credit

Tournament Format Adjusted - Four-game Minimum Advertized

Rain Out - One game played = 50% Credit*

Rain Out - Two games played = 25% Credit*

Rain Out – Three games played – No Refund - No Credit

Team Cancellation - 8 days, or more, before tournament = $100 Deduction

Team Cancellation - 7 days, or less, before tournament = No Refund - No Credit

Team Cancellation - During tournament for any reason = No Refund - No Credit

Team withdrawal for any reason, team forfeiture or Ejection from tournament = No Refund - No Credit

* Credit towards another NSA Kankakee or Waukegan Softball tournament. Excludes State Championships.
