Home Run Contest starts at 7:00pm

DIAMOND TWO

Legal bats only – Balls provided – Provide own pitcher

AWARDS + CASH PRIZES

1st Place- 50% of Total Entries plus Award

2nd Place - 25% of Total Entries

Example 40 Entries X $10 = $400 total entries

1st would receive $200 + Award; 2nd would receive $100

Entry Fee $10 for 8 ball session

Limit three sessions per player

OFFICIAL HOME RUN DERBY RULES

 

ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS

Any player who is on a sanctioned roster of a team playing in the E World Series.

 

ENTRY FEE

Entry Fee $10 per session

Entry fee covers all three rounds if a batter advances

Any player can buy THREE sessions before the scheduled time for round one to begin

Free Mulligans are provided for first two rounds

 

AWARDS + CASH PRIZES

1st place - 50% of total entries money + Award

2nd place - 25% of total entries money

Example:. 40 entries  x $10 = $400 total entries money

1st would receive 50% or $200 plus the Adonis HR Champion Award based on $400 in entries

2nd would receive 25% or $100 based on $400 in entries

 

HOME RUN DERBY RULES

Format: Three rounds

Each round has a predetermined number of pitches and mulligans.

Batter(s) with the most home runs hit fair over the fence will advance or win the round

A mulligan can be used for a bad pitch, a missed swing or a non-home run hit ball.

NSA approved bats only – all bats will be checked

Balls will be provided by tournament

Each batter provides own pitcher

There will be a protective screen in front of pitcher

Pitchers must pitch behind the screen from the pitchers plate

Pitcher is allowed 3 practice pitches before batter steps into the box

 

ROUND ONE

Unlimited Contestants

No new signups will be taken after 8:45pm

Each players receives 8 pitches, 6 hit balls and 1 mulligan

A mulligan can be used for a bad pitch or a non-homerun hit ball

TOP FOUR PLAYERS advance to ROUND TWO

In case of ties deciding advancement, there will be SUDDEN DEATH PLAYOFF between the tied contestants only

 

ROUND TWO (begins at 7:30pm)

Top FOUR contestants from round one

Contestants pull numbers our of a hat to determine batting order

Each players receives 6 pitches, 4 hit balls and 1 mulligan

A mulligan can be used for a bad pitch or a non-homerun hit ball

TOP TWO PLAYERS advance to ROUND THREE CHAMPIONSHIP

In case of ties deciding advancement, there will be SUDDEN DEATH PLAYOFF between the tied contestants only

 

ROUND THREE CHAMPIONSHIP (begins after round two is complete)

Top two contestants from round two

Contestants flip a coin to determine batting order (winner has choice)

Each players receives 4 pitches, 4 hit balls and no mulligans

In case of ties deciding advancement, there will be SUDDEN DEATH PLAYOFF between the tied contestants only

 

SUDDEN DEATH PLAYOFF

Each player will get one swing. If one player hits a home run and the other makes an out, the player who hits the home run is the Champion. If they both make an out or both hit a home run, the process will be repeated until one player hits a home run and the other makes an out.
